FREINDSHIP!
FRIENDS ARE ONE THE GREATEST GIFTS YOU CAN GIVE YOURSELF.THEY CAN EITHER MAKE YOU OR BREAK YOU.YOUR ASSOCIATION TELLS ALOT ABOUT WHO YOU ARE.THEY HELP SHAPEN YOUR THOUGHT PATTERN AND ULTIMATELY YOUR LIFE.
I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF FRIENDSHIPS:
A. THOSE WHO ARE YOUR FRIENDS.
B. THOSE WHO YOU ARE THEIR FRIENDS.
C. THE MUTUAL FRIENDSHIP[YOU ARE THEIER FRIENDS AND THEY ARE YOURS TOO]
THE FIRST GROUP ARE VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE THEIR OPINIONS COUNTS IN YOUR LIFE YOU MOST PROBABLY WOULD TAKE AN ADVICE THEY OFFER.
THE SECOND GROUP ARE LESS IMPORTANT,THEY USUALLY DRAIN YOU BY PLACING DEMANDS ON YOU. ALTHOUGH THEY BELONG TO YOUR CIRCLE OF INFLUENCE,THEY COULD BE ALOT OF DISTRACTION.
THE THIRD GROUP ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU,THEY KNOW YOU AND YOU KNOW THEM.THEY REFLECT YOU AND YOU DO THEM.THEY COULD BE YOUR CONVENAT FRIENDS OR SOULMATES.YOU SHARE DEEP THINGS: CHALLENGES,SUCCESS AND FAILURES.YOU CAN BE REAL WITH THEM AND THEY CAN TELL YOU THE WHOLE TRUTH EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT. THEY ADD TO YOU AND MAKE YOU BETTER.
MY PHILOSOPHY IS THIS:I DON'T ALLOW MY FRIENDS CHOOSE ME,I CHOOSE MY FRIENDS.
"HE THAT MUST HAVE A FRIEND MUST FIRST SHOW HIMSELF FIENDLY FOR THERE IS A FRIEND THAT STICKS CLOSER THAN A BROTHER."
Pv18:24

Friendship is necessary for destiny. Without quality friendships, we cannot fulfil our purposes in life. Jesus, the Ultimate Leader, said to his disciples "I do not call you servants, I call you friends...because a servant does not know what his master is doing". Jesus was choosing his friends when he chose his disciples. Even at the moment he was being betrayed he still called Judas his friend. To Jesus, the measure of friendship is the quality of information shared by the parties and their commitment to the demands of that information. God called Abraham his friend! because both of them shared a covenant sealed by certain information (promises, terms of the covenant, warnings and expectations)

In the light of the scriptuaral principles,I hold that friendship must be for a purpose. The purpose of friendship should be to create a social climate that would cause our seeds of greatness to blossom. You know very well that every seed needs a fertile and relevant soil to be fruitful. In like manner, every great destiny requires great friendships.

For me I have friends in the following categories
1. Friends that complement me
2. Friends that compensate for my weakeness
3.Friends that benefit from my gift and calling, thereby giving me opportunity for self-expression
4. Friends that provide from their gifts and callings; allowing me to receive the benefits of their ministries
5. Friends with whom I share mutual interests and common goals
6. Friends that exposes me to pain that causes growth.

Today's quotable quote is;
"show me your friend and tell you who you are"

truth if you decide to make a list of the five closest people to you (family members only count as one, look at the list closely, that who you are and who you'll become combined.
