I have noticed that the most difficult set of people to help are those that enjoy the pity, attention and other benefits that their problems bring to them. Their main problem is that they have a very low self esteme, their problems define them e.g. the girl with the broken arm. Without these problems, they are just another face in the crowd. They hate the pains the problems bring but love more the attention they get.A story was told of a blind man who went to a crusade ground to beg alms, but while the preacher was praying his eyes were opened. At first he shouted for joy but on second thought, he approached the preacher and asked that his blindness be restored so he could keep on begging.
You have to hate your problem enough to let it go.

we are what we make ourselves
The man that comes around and makes an excellent speech and gains the applause of the crowd was not born that way.
he problem became that good as a result of books he read and associations he kept. his choices.
if we are not anything near him today, we should look in the mirror and put all the blame on what we see.
reality is it's "the man in the mirror that is responsible for our sucsess or failures... and that means YOU.
